Wire Hoods also called Muselets, are both functional and esthetically very appealing to bring your product to the next level. They are wire cages that fit over the cork of a bottle of sparkling wine, cider or specialty beer to prevent the cork from emerging under the pressure of the carbonated contents.

Most muselets ( the 36 and 26.5mm sizes) have a metal cap incorporated which is situated on top of the cork and is a great marketing tool to show off your beautiful design.

The muselets without a metal cap are suited for the Pfefferkorn plastic stoppers. These stoppers combined with a capless muselet is a more economical option to the traditional muselet with cap designed for a natural cork.
